On Maltongate, Café Bouchère describes its menu as rooted in fresh, seasonal ingredients and inspired by European café culture. It opens five days a week, closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, and dogs are welcome.

Making a morning of it

Café Bouchère sits on the same road as the main car park, so it makes an easy start or finish to a walk round the green and the beck, or to the Ellerburn circular.
