The five cars

Triumph Stag, KKH 295N: a 1974 Mk2 in French Blue with tan leather, bought from Classic & Sportscar Centre of Malton and restored by Malton Coachworks between November 2025 and March 2026, with a final repaint of part of the top in June 2026. The Stag Archive documents the restoration job by job.
Jaguar E-Type, 9769 HA: a 1963 Series 1 3.8 fixed-head coupe in Primrose with black leather, laid up from 1987 to 2000 and given a bare-shell restoration completed in 2009.
Jaguar Mk2, 873 EUT: a dark green 3.8 restomod, rebuilt from a bare shell over six years with a five-speed Getrag gearbox, a limited-slip differential, uprated brakes and power steering.
MG TF 1500, WSU 141: a 1954 TF 1500 in Ivory over red, built at Abingdon in December 1954 and restored in 1989. In July 2026 it met a new MG Cyberster outside Wardill Bros in the village.
AC Aceca-Bristol, UBR 135: a 1958 Aceca-Bristol, chassis BE 700, laid up for 34 years and rebuilt in 2007 and 2008. In August 2026 it was on show at Mathewsons Live at the Great Yorkshire Showground in Harrogate.
Have these cars been on Bangers & Cash?
Not these five, but their kind has. E-Types have featured in at least five series and Mk2 Jaguars in the first series, an AC Aceca came up for sale in series 5, and Triumphs and MGs turn up in most series. We have not found a Triumph Stag or a 1950s MG T-type on screen yet. Our Restoring Classics guide and series 14 pages list the cars episode by episode.
