This is series 12, episode 7, first shown on U&Yesterday on 11 September 2025. Paul and Charlie head south to collect an immaculate Lotus Super 7. Meanwhile Derek and Jack go to Sheffield, where they pick up two vintage cars: a 1929 Riley Monaco and a 1924 Alvis 12/50 tourer. With an open sports car and two cars from the 1920s, the episode spans very different eras.

What they made
Mathewsons' published results include a 1929 Riley 9 Monaco Mk4 sold for £7,000 (Mathewsons lot 796) on 18 October 2024, with a 1924 Alvis 12/50 in the same sale. It is the only 1929 Riley Monaco we have found in the firm's results, so we take it to be the car shown. We have not found a published result for the Alvis or the Lotus.
