First aired on Yesterday on 7 September 2023, series 8, episode 4 begins in Lincolnshire, where Dave collects a 1935 Riley Falcon fitted with a pre-select gearbox. Derek crosses the Pennines to Salford for a group of performance cars, among them a VW Jetta GTi and a Ford Sierra Cosworth. The team also look into what became of a Rover P6, which gives the episode a small mystery to follow alongside the collections.
