Paul Mathewson is one of Derek Mathewson's two sons, a director of Mathewsons and a regular on Bangers & Cash.
Who Paul is
Paul is one of Derek's two sons and, with his brother Dave, a director of Mathewsons Classic Cars Ltd. On screen he is often out on the road collecting. He has brought back a pair of Lotuses from Anglesey and a vintage tractor pulled from a Yorkshire barn. He also fetched a vintage Albion truck from Leicestershire with his son Charlie, and the pair of them took to it. In UKTV's 2020 "Meet Paul Mathewson" special he talked about cars and about working alongside his son. He also gives advice on the spin-off Restoring Classics. In August 2026 he met fans with Derek and Dave at the first Mathewsons Live at the Great Yorkshire Showground in Harrogate.
