The fourteenth series opened on U&Yesterday on Thursday 23 July 2026 at 8pm. Derek goes to collect a Mk1 Ford Cortina that has had one owner and has stood in a garage for more than 25 years, while Paul and his daughter Kate collect a Reliant Scimitar and a Nissan Figaro.

The cars
- Ford Cortina Mk1
- Ford's family car of 1962 to 1966, built at Dagenham. More than a million were made, so the Mk1 Cortina is not rare, but a one-owner car that has spent decades in a garage is unusual.
- Reliant Scimitar
- Reliant of Tamworth made the Scimitar in several forms; the best known is the GTE of 1968, a sports estate, and Princess Anne owned several.
- Nissan Figaro
- a retro-styled convertible launched in 1991 for the Japanese home market, with production limited to about 20,000 cars. Japan drives on the left, so they are right-hand drive, which is why so many have since come to Britain.
What they made
No result for these cars has been published. We add it here when Mathewsons publish one or when we can confirm the figure the programme showed.
Visit
